The feedback I worked on was incorporating how the company makes a profit.

  1. Christie, Super job. I think you found a good mix of compelling reasons and benefits/solutions. Seems the more people I talk to about this food waste issue the more I am starting to think that people don’t really seem to care that much about this issue. Have you noticed anything similar? For my pitch(es) I have been focusing on need awareness, since this seems to be a major hurtle for this case. I guess I have been taking the tactic of trying to get them hooked so that they ask a question or two and then I can get into more details of the solution. While this pitch is great, I think your previous version had a more compelling “hook”. Thanks for sharing. Kevin

  2. Hi Christie, Great job. "Throwing away food is like throwing away cash". Love this line and the message. It is definitely compelling argument. I think you should try even more to make the pitch to investors on the money side. This is a great advertisement, but as an investor, I'd want to understand more of how we get paid. Great job overall though! I'd buy it!

  3. Hi Christie, You always present very well and look extremely in your element. I agree with Andrea, I'd focus on how this would be profitable to investors, advertisers, etc. This is great from the consumer perspective. It almost seems like a commercial! :) Thanks for sharing.

  4. Christie, You are always so energetic and well spoken in anything you present including your elevator pitch. I love that you start with you are missing out on free money! that perks everyone's ears up. Food Forward also a good name and easy to remember. I have not given my company a name but I realize I probably need to do this to help be to walk away with remembering what we do in the name and getting investors to give me some dinero! Nice Job thanks for sharing.

  5. Hi Christie
Good job. I think having a prop is a good way to get attention for what you're talking about. I agree that focusing in the benefit to the investor a little bit will be helpful. But overall good job on the presnetation and getting a good memorable name.
